1. What is this invoice?
It
is not an invoice it is a notification of factory
warranty expiration and an opportunity to extend the original factory warranty
for one year. If you wish to extend this
warranty you only need to cut a check for the amount shown on the notice and mail the
check with a copy of this notice. If you do
not wish to extend the warranty, take no action and no further correspondence will be sent
regarding this particular set of items. You may have other equipment that will expire at a
later time and a notice will be sent at that time.
2. What is/are the item(s) on this invoice?
Items
like example #1 on your notice are the three
pieces that together are a Computer Lab International Twinaxial (AS/400 or System 36)
terminal. The pieces are a Keyboard, a Logic
or Base unit and a monitor. The three pieces
make up one complete terminal.
Items
like example #2 on your notice are the three
pieces that together make a Computer Lab International Ethernet or Windows Based (Network, AS/400, Unix, Mainframe, Citrix or
Terminal Services) terminal. The pieces are a
Keyboard, a Logic or Base unit and a monitor. The
three pieces make up one complete terminal.
Items
like example #3 on your notice are a PC based
5250 Emulation Card. These cards are mounted
inside a PC and allow that PC to function as a Twinaxial (AS/400 or System 36) terminal
and a PC at the same time.
3. How long will this extend the warranty?
1
year.
4. What does the extended warranty cover?
The
same as the original warranty you received when you purchased this equipment new. Please
review the Warranty Policy.
You
are not required to pay anything. This was
only a notification and an opportunity to extend the warranty coverage. Take no action and no further correspondence
will be sent regarding this particular set of items. You may have other equipment that
will expire at a later time and a notice will be sent at that time.
6. How can I get a list of all CLI equipment I've
purchased.
You

include your account number which appears in the upper right area of the extension notice.
