problem: Color Bar test pattern is displayed on the monitor with power indicator LED Amber in color.
cause: The logic unit is not turned on.
cause: VGA cable is not connected.

problem: Color Bar test pattern is displayed on the monitor with power indicator LED Green in color.
cause: Defective monitor due to shipping damage; Request replacement.

problem: No video on the screen.
cause: Monitor is turned off.
cause: Brightness and/or contrast is turned down. Adjust brightness and contrast.
cause: The terminal is in Auto-Dim. Hit a key to restore.

problem: Wrong colors appear on the screen.
cause: In Off-Line setup, monochrome monitor is selected. Change to "Color".
cause: Default colors were changed in On-Line setup. Use On-line setup, "Setup display" menu item and reset to defaults. Use option "F11=Default2".

problem: Wrong characters type on the screen.
cause: Keyboard auto-detected problem. Hold down space bar and power on the logic unit to auto-detect the keyboard, F3 to exit.

problem: One key on keyboard does not respond.
cause: Key cap may have become dislodged during shipment. Firmly press on key to try to re-seat the key on to the post.
cause: Possible defective keyboard; request replacement.
