Computer Lab
International to Exhibit at Quest Global Conference
PLACENTIA, Calif. - June 8,
2004 - Computer
Lab International (TM), Inc. (CLI), a leading provider of thin client and
terminal hardware and software, will be exhibiting its latest application
modernization products at the upcoming Quest Global Conference 2004.
The Quest Global Conference 2004 is a unique user-driven educational and
networking forum for users of the products now known as PeopleSoft® World and
EnterpriseOne. Over 4000 PeopleSoft and former J.D. Edwards IT executives,
administrators, and users are expected at this year’s Conference.
It takes place from June 21 - 23 at the Colorado Convention Center in
Denver, CO.
At the CLI Booth - #607
Visitors to CLI's booth at the Quest Global Conference will see a broad
array of products. CLI will be
displaying thin clients such as the powerful Windows® CE.NET ET3000 with
support for Internet Explorer, and the ET5000x with the latest Microsoft Windows®
XP Embedded operating system and support for 802.11 wireless. Additionally, the
popular ET2000 Ethernet Terminal, a plug-and-play replacement for 5250 and 3270
terminals, will be on display. All
of CLI’s products can be used to access AS/400 (iSeries) and other IBM
midrange systems, and many can simultaneously access servers running Microsoft
Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 Server, Citrix MetaFrame, Linux, and the Internet.
The benefits of using CLI’s products
include higher security, more centralized management and administration, higher
reliability, lower acquisition cost and lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) than
PCs.
“CLI looks forward to offering the many
users of iSeries or AS/400 servers within the PeopleSoft / former J.D. Edwards
marketplace a cost-effective desktop solution that will allow them to expand the
capabilities of their legacy systems in a secure, centrally managed
environment”, said Thomas Fei, President of CLI.
