Computer Lab International to Exhibit at the IBM eServer i5 iSeries Technical Conference EXPO

PLACENTIA, Calif. – October 2004 - Computer Lab International (TM), Inc. (CLI), a leading provider of thin client and terminal hardware and software, will be exhibiting its latest application modernization products at the upcoming IBM eServer i5 iSeries Technical Conference EXPO.

The IBM eServer i5 iSeries Technical Conference is an educational event designed to solve business challenges and unleash new levels of performance by identifying, understanding and learning how to exploit the latest iSeries technical advances.  The audience consists of systems programmers, database administrators, technical professionals and managers who need the latest skills to be successful in their businesses.  The EXPO takes place within this event November 8 – 10, 2004 at the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas, NV.

At the CLI Booth - #205
Visitors to CLI's booth at the EXPO will see the latest CLI products, including the new Linux ET4000t and ET5000t thin clients.  IBM customers using technologies including WebFacing, WebSphere Host Access Transformation Server (HATS), iSeries Access for Web 5250, and Domino, and those legacy customers generally looking to transition to newer applications and environments, will be especially interested in these products.  Additionally, the popular ET2000 Terminal, a plug-and-play replacement for 5250 and 3270 terminals, will be on display.  All of CLI’s products can be used to access AS/400 (iSeries) and other IBM midrange systems, and many can simultaneously access servers running Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 Server, Citrix MetaFrame, Linux, and the Internet.

Some of the benefits of using CLI’s products include higher security, more centralized management and administration, higher reliability, lower acquisition cost and lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) than PCs.

"Through our participation in this event, we hope to educate iSeries users on the many benefits of using CLI thin clients", said Thomas Fei, President of Computer Lab International.  "Companies will learn how to modernize and extend the capabilities of their legacy applications while continuing to protect investments in key business information systems."
