New Higher-Performance Thin Client Series Debuts

The MT3500 Thin Client Series delivers speed and
flexibility, with a faster CPU, and optional, internal smart card reader or
wireless connectivity.

of thin client and text terminal products introduced today, the new MT3500 Thin
Client Series.
The MT3500 Thin Client Series is a higher-performance,
mini-terminal line that runs the flexible Microsoft XP Embedded operating
system, and uses the AMD Geode LX 800 processor. The mini-terminal design allows
multiple mounting options to save valuable desk space, and the fast CPU provides
great performance and maximum energy efficiency.
Product models included in the MT3500 Series are:
· MT3500x – Flexible, higher-performance Microsoft Windows
XP Embedded mini thin client
· MT3550x – Adds to the MT3500x an internal smart card
reader
· MT3560x – Adds to the MT3500x 802.11b/g wireless
All models include Microsoft RDP and Citrix ICA protocols, to access Windows
applications, as well as multiple terminal emulations to access mainframe,
midrange, UNIX and other legacy applications. For Web-based applications, there
is an Internet Explorer browser and Windows Media Player for multimedia. All
come bundled with CLI SNMP Administrator Software to provide administrators
complete control of all CLI desktops.
