ET2000 Firmware Download

Important Notice for iSeries V5R4 customers: When upgrading to V5R4, be sure to install all PTFs and if your ET2000 firmware version is older than 02.96.01.64 upgrade to this latest firmware (required to correct connection/reconnection issues).

  • ET2000 - Version 03.13.01.64 (Release Notice)
    Download ET2000 Firmware (03130164.EXE), save in a temporary folder, then run it to extract the firmware files and the release notice:

    • ETFLASH.UPD
    		 Version control file
    • ETROM1.xxx
    		 xxx = version number for TCP/IP firmware
    • ETROM2.yyy
    		 yyy = version number for Terminal firmware
    • 0xxx0yyy.TXT
    		 Release notice, txt file

CAUTION:

  • All firmware files are controlled as a group! When you are updating or changing the files in the directory: /ET2000 in the TFTP server, be certain that all files are replaced as a group.
  • Please use the IBM AS/400, UNIX or other compliant TFTP server. Do not use the Cisco TFTP server.
  • An approved freeware TFTP server which runs on Win9x/NT/2k/XP is available from Klever at: http://kin.klever.net/dist/pumpkin-2.7.2.exe. Click here to view abbreviated instructions on how to use Pumpkin and how to the update on the ET2000.
